30 anniversary Run to Virginia City, NV. I was rained, and snowed out.The weather killed the event.I don't blame any one. The sad thing is I thought that because of Thunder on the Mountain during STREET VIBRATIONS,that V.C. was ready for a real bike run. Not true.The business people in town like us. It looks to me that the county comissioners don't want our business. The stumbling blocks that were put before me just before the event cost me $20,000.00 extra. Then I was ripped off by the sheriff for police protection.Harassment of my guest was not good. I personally felt dumped on by the police. Business is down in V.C.. So it looks like the police are making up the revenue by going over board.It looks like a entrapment zone to me.Therefor I'm moving my run next year to Quincy Ca. Stay tuned for a flier coming up.
I went SALUTE TO AMERICA in Tuly Lake , CA.Great place for a event. Once again the cops screwed it up as much as they could. I hope the promoter can over come, and do it again.
Save your selves from trouble and avoid Virginia City. If you must go please patronize the Ramada Hotel,Bucket of Blood Saloon, Mark Twain Saloon.Delta Saloon&Gaming casino.Beware of John Law. Harassment of bike people ever where is on the up mode. We are the cash cow to law enforcment
